The place was very pretty, we enjoyed the whale watching trip and considering what Kaikoura had been through everyone was really friendly and helpful. The downside again was the guide. Not very knowledgeable, there were only four of us but the guide decided we could just chat amongst ourselves. I think some of these guides should be called drivers.

Tour, guide and organization were perfect! Due to the weather conditions, a part of the tour had to be cancelled, but we quickly got a refund AND did something superb instead.
