Tekapo day excursion

Enjoy a cup of tea/coffee as you look through the merino/possum clothing and souvenirs at the Tin Shed-Geraldine. As you travel your guide will give you details of locations visited and short historic narrations along the way. From the Canterbury Plains passing through Selwyn District and it's wineries you reach the McKenzie District and it's picturesque lake with it's turquoise waters. If time permits, there will also be a chance to admire Lake Pukaki (30 minutes drive from Tekapo). On the return, enjoy a quick stop at Kiwi Country for a famous Hokey Pokey Ice-cream! Then, transfer back to your accommodation in Christchurch.
