About this activity
If you have ever wanted to fly a plane this is your chance to find out what it’s like! After checking in at the SimCenter located in Clearwater, you'll meet your instructor who will show you the ins and outs of your simulator. This 1- or 2-hour simulator experience will let you be the captain of a huge Boeing 737 plane. Pick your destination, airport and weather conditions then your instructor will walk you through each step.
The software is in communication with the real airport traffic centers so you will get real time weather and real time traffic at the airports of your choice. Or, you can pick any part of the day and any weather condition and any emergency situation.
If all you want to do is take a quick flight, choose the 20-minute simulator option where you can do take-off and land once giving you a quick taste of what it what it feels like to get behind the controls.
