Stop At: Alcock and Brown Landing Site, Derrygimlagh Bog, Clifden Ireland

You'll pick up your bike, equipment, and map in Clifden at 10am to start an unforgettable day in Connemara. During this trip you will plan your route individually. The following routes are suggested:

You can enjoy a scenic ride from Clifden along the haunting bog road to Roundstone. On the ride back to Clifden you will pass Ballyconneely; take your time to admire the beautiful coasts of Connemara and make a stop at Alcock & Brown Memorial, the landing site of the very first trans Atlantic flight. (Approx. 2h 15min - 40 km; 25 miles). At 6pm, travel back to Clifden to drop off the bike and the equipment.

Stop At: Marconi Station, Derrygimlagh, Clifden Ireland

Take your time to admire the beautiful coasts of Connemara and make a stop at the Marconi Radio Station Memorial, the site of the very first trans Atlantic radio transmission and the first station in western Europe to pick up the Titanic's SOS!.

Stop At: Sky Road, Clifden Ireland

From Clifden, follow the Sky Road and gaze at the stunning view and its wide range of scenery. Make a stop at Clifden Castle to explore this charming ruin. (1h - 11km; 6.8 miles)
