Day 1: Coimbatore – Munnar As you land in Coimbatore airport, Hotel or Train Station our driver (Pick up between 07:00 - 1 PM) will be present to receive and drive you to hill station Munnar. Tucked at an elevation of 1,600 metre, it is a popular scenic honeymoon destination in India. You will be dropped at the hotel booked for your comfortable stay in Munnar. You can spend rest of the day relaxing at hotel or strolling in nearby places.
Day 2: Munnar -After breakfast, the driver will take you to first National Park of Kerela ‘Eravikulam National Park’. It is home to a variety of native rare species viz. Nilgiri Tahr, Lion-tailed Macaques, Sambar Deer, Leopard, Tiger, Indian Porcupine, etc. Enjoy spotting fascinating wildlife and then move forward to ‘Tea Museum’ best known for witnessing tea plantations. The workers at the Museum impart knowledge about the complete procedure of cultivation and extraction of tea.
Get ready for a relaxing boat ride enjoying scenic mountainous views in ‘Matupettay Dam’. It will be followed by another famous tourist attraction ‘Echo Point’ lying in its proximity. Return to the hotel after interesting sightseeing and have a pleasant overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 3: Munnar – Alleppey -Have breakfast and then get ready to leave for ‘Alleppey’. The beautiful city is known for its natural beauty comprising backwaters, canals, beaches and lagoons. It offers multiple scenic backwater routes for enjoying houseboat cruise
You will be taken for houseboat cruise on backwaters of Kerala. Enter the houseboat equipped with all modern amenities. The cruise is a great way to explore the rich greenery, aquatic life, sighting animals in forests and just enjoying peace amid nature. The freshly cooked meals will be served onboard. overnight stay cruising on the boat
Day 4: Alleppey – Cochin - Savour the delicious breakfast served to you on houseboat. Thereafter, deboard and meet our driver waiting for you at the harbour. You will be driven to ‘Cochin’, famous as financial capital of Kerala. The city is great for exploration offering the old-world charm with its differently styled architectural monuments A surreal touch of Dutch, English and Portuguese can be noticed in the city for being under their rule in the past. The sightseeing places which will be covered are - Santacruz Basilica (Portuguese), Mattancherry Palace (Portuguese), Jewish Synagogue (Jewish) and St. Francis Church (European).
The sightseeing will be followed by a gripping show of Indian classical dance form ‘Kathakali’. Then enjoy some shopping in famous nearby local market. Sign off the day with a peaceful overnight stay at the hotel in Cochin.
Day 5: Cochin – Coimbatore -You will be transferred to Cochin airport, Hotel or Train Station by our chauffeur driven AC car. The tour package will hereby terminate.
