Your guide will pick you up at your Lisbon hotel and drive you to Fátima, where Our Lady of Fátima appeared to the three shepherd children in 1917. Once here, visit the basilica where Francisco, Jacinta Marto, and Lúcia are buried. See the Igreja da Santíssima Trindade (Church of the Holy Trinity), Portugal’s largest Catholic sanctuary. At the Wax Museum you can see 119 wax figures that recreate the time of the apparitions and depict the story of Fátima.
Next visit the Capela das Aparições (Chapel of Apparitions), a small temple built at the request of Our Lady of Fátima when she appeared to the three shepherd children. See the nearby Azinheira Grande, the tree that Jacinta, Lúcia, and Francisco passed on their way to see the saint. You can opt to customize your private tour to include a candle procession that takes place every day from April 17 to October 31, between 9:30pm and 11pm.

Great tour. The church is beautiful. The candlelight ceremony is moving. I am not religious by any means but this tour is a must. Our private driver was amazing. The trip from Lisbon is an hour and a half each way. Your driver is also your guide of the church and the area where the Virgin Mary was spotted. This is a highlight of any trip to Lisbon.
This was a highlight for us on our tour. Our driver Bernado picked us up at our hotel and delivered us back safely.He was very informative and explained a lot of detail . The place itself has to be seen to be believed and is hard to describe, my wife was overawed and we were happy we choose this tour.
The half day tour of Fatima was so amazing and worthy. We had an excellent tour guide, Mr. Eduardo Silva, who knows Fatima's history very well. He give us lots of information about the apparition of the Lady of Fatima and the 3 shepherd children. We saw the houses where they live before, the apparition sites, attended the mass in the chapel, went to 2 churches and had a lunch in a very good local restaurant. We were so overwhelmed with the information we got on that tour. We highly recommend him, it was a 5 star tour for us!
