Tomar, Batalha & Alcobaca World Heritage Site Tour

Come get to know three of the most incredible World Heritage Sites in Portugal alongside us: Tomar, Batalha and Alcobaa! Known as the City of the Templars, in Tomar we will unveil the charms of the Mata dos Sete Montes, the Castle and the Convent of Christ (inscribed on the World Heritage List since 1983)! Thats where well also have a lunch break, where you can stroll in the typically commercial area and find the best restaurants along the River Nabo. After lunch, we will departure to Batalha where we will find the Monastery of Santa Maria da Vitria (more commonly known as Monastery of Batalha and inscribed on the World Heritage List since 1983)! We will also visit the site of the legendary battle that ended the greatest dynastic crisis in the history of Portugal as well as knowing everything about the legend of Padeira de Aljubarrota! After this it is time to visit Alcobaa, with its beautiful Monastery (one of the most imposing testimonies of the Cistercian architecture throughout Europe and inscribed on the World Heritage List since 1989). From the set of medieval dependencies we will visit the Canteen, the Dormitory, the Chapter Hall, the Cloister of D. Dinis, the Hall of Kings and the impressive Kitchen!
