About this activity
Enjoy a pickup and transfer from Colmar before taking a day tour through the Alsace in a comfortable minivan.

Departing from the historical center of Colmar, you will pass through the wine route along the beautiful vineyards and little villages, from there you can explore the typical Alsatian architecture which is magical, colorful, and unique.

You will make a stop at the four wonders of the Alsace as they are called. The first one is Eguisheim, one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France.

Then drive further along the Alsatian Wine Route, immerse yourself in the world of vineyards and products which make the Ribeauvillé and Riquewihr region’s reputation.

To test the region’s wine reputation, you will visit a typical wine cave and you can taste a big variety of wines such as Gewurztraminer, pinot gris, pinot blanc and many more.

Our tour will end with Kayserberg, where its high fortress dominates the city and serves as a reminder of both its strategic importance, and its warlike past. After visiting these 4 wonders, our driver will bring you safely back to Colmar.

An excellent tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and helpful, and provided a lot of information, without overwhelming us.

Our guide was very nice but really provided little or no information. She was just transportation. What she did say was very difficult to understand. When I asked a question her answer would be " I'll get to that later, but never did, or when I asked some questions about wine she replied you can ask at the winery, but no one there either to ask . We have taken numerous Viator tour and always been very pleased. Not the case this time.

The tour was excellent. The tour guy Christopher from the tour company in Alsace is a wonderful , very helpful, sincere, friendly and energetic individual. He tried the best to explain all the details in every stop, He is very caring and enjoys what he is doing. He tries to make sure you enjoy every moment during the tour. I cannot ask for more.I would definitely recommend to friends and will mention to ask for Christopher if there is a choice.

Wonderful tour to see 4 Wonders of Alsace. During 8 hours tour you get the information on Alsace. The guide Christopher was excellent. Seems he knows all about Alsace. He provided with the historical information, showed the most interesting places. The tour is well planned. No minute was wasted. We visited 4 villages: Eguisheim, Ribeaville, Riquewihr and Kayserberg. The most beautiful for me is Riquewihr. The lunch with Alsace traditional food was excellent. In Eguisheim there was the opportunity to taste local cheese. The winery Bott Freres is remarkable. It was great to visit the cellar, to know about the technology of winemaking. The proper way to visit beautiful Alsace is the guided tour. On your own it is impossible to see all these during 8 hours. The weather was fine, warm, sunny. The minivan was comfortable, conditioned. The guide provided with coffee an WiFi.the tour was wonderful! Thanks! Tatiana N.

Picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel. The villages we visited were lovely and we were allowed to wander around at our own pace. I think Riquewihr was our favourite. Wine tasting was enjoyable. Our driver/guide Max was friendly. It is expensive for what it is but I think the high cost of taxi's in Alsace reflect the price of being driven around all day. The vehicle was roomy and comfortable. I'm glad we did the trip, I enjoyed the day and I have some great memories and photo's of the day.

Excellent itinerary. Our guide was very friendly but more of a driver than a guide.
