Half day afternoon tour of castles and vineyards

You'll depart in the early afternoon from Colmar, the heart of the Alsace wine region, and travel along the wine trail in comfortable air-conditioned transport to visit the quaint villages of Kaysersberg and Eguisheim. The colorful renaissance style houses and cobblestoned streets make these centuries-old villages truly picturesque.

You'll also step into the medieval Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle and learn the history behind the mountain fortress that has bore witness to conflicts between lords, kings and emperors since the 12th century.

To finish off your afternoon you'll be taken to a winemaker to experience the established methods of local winemaking and of course the opportunity to sample the results!

You'll travel back along the wine route, enjoying the views of the rolling green hills and abundant vineyards to arrive comfortably back at your accommodation for the early evening.
