Day 1: Kandy
You will be picked up from Bandaranaike International Airport or your previous hotel in Colombo and taken to your new hotel. Upon arrival check in to a hotel in Kandy which takes approximately about 4 hrs from the Airport.
Day 2: Kandy
After breakfast visit a botanical garden and then start your Kandy city tour, visiting Tooth Temple and Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, a Buddhist temple located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of Buddha. Enjoy an evening cultural show and, after the excursion, you will be escorted back to the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 3: Kandy/Nuwara Eliya
After the breakfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya, on the way visit Ramboda Falls, visit a tea factory, & a tea plantation. If you are interested in doing water rafting we could do it as well. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 4: Nuwara Eliya/Tissamaharama
In the morning do a train trip from Nanuoya to Ella, It takes around 3:30 hrs in train, you could observe beautiful waterfalls, tea plantations and vegetable gardens on the way. The driver will pick you up from Ella station and proceed to Tissmaharama, on the way we will visit Demodara Nine arch and Ravana Falls. Overnight in Tissamaharama.
Day 5: Tissamaharama/Mirissa
Do the Yala Safari in the morning at 5:30am, it is the most visited and second largest national park in Sri Lanka. Proceed to Mirissa, after the Yala Safari. En-route you could visit Hummanaya Blow Hole which is known as the world’s second largest blow hole. Check in to your hotel and relax for the rest of the day in Mirissa.
Day 6: Mirissa /Bentota
In the morning enjoy whale watching & snorkeling. Visit Galle Fort which is built by the Portuguese in the year of 1588 and fortified by the Dutch in the 1600’s Galle fort was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in the year of 1988 for it cultural heritage value. It was initially built as a fortress to protect Galle from foreign invasion and later it was concerted to hold administrations offices and other specialty shopsand proceed to Bentota, en-route do Maduganga Boat Safari which you are taken to cinnamon islands, after that you could also visit Turtle-Farm and check in at your Hotel in Bentota.
Day 7: Bentota/Airport in Colombo
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and you will be transferred to the Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo.
