Begin this journey of discovery at the Seema Malaka Buddhist Temple on the Beira Lake in the centre of the bustling city, before catching a tuk tuk to Sri Ponnambalam Vanesar Kovil, a stunning granite hindu temple. Take a stroll down to St Anthony’s Shrine, an impressive Catholic church before sneaking through back streets into Pettah, Colombo’s busy bazaar. End your walk at the gorgeous Red Mosque, possibly Colombo’s most Instagrammable site!
This walk is hosted our resident culture buff, who has been resident in Colombo for over 30 years. He has been strolling the streets of this very area getting to know the people and places which really bring Colombo alive.
