Day 1: Negombo - Kandy

Stop At: Temple of the Tooth, Sri Dalada Maligawa, Sri Dalada Veediya, Kandy 20000 Sri Lanka
The temple of tooth relic is the most sacred temple in Sri Lanka due to its relic. It was built within the royal palace complex which houses the one of the two surviving relic of the tooth of Buddha, an object of veneration for Buddhists. The temple of tooth relic is the most oldest and cultural temple in Sri Lanka and is one of the best tourist attractions.

Stop At: Royal Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya Road, Peradeniya 20400 Sri Lanka
The Royal Botanical Gardens is home to more than 4,000 different species of plants and over 10,000 trees, showcasing all of Sri Lanka’s flora and many other tropical plants not native to the island. Walk down avenues framed by towering coconut palms, shelter beneath the sprawling canopy of the old Javan fig trees, marvel at the extensive collection of orchids, and see giant fruit bats hanging in their hundreds from the tree tops.

Stop At: Kandy Lake Club - Cultural Dance Show, 7 Sangamitta Mawatha, Kandy 20000 Sri Lanka
Kandyan dancing and drumming is Sri Lanka’s iconic performing art, and you’re unlikely to spend long in the city without seeing a troupe of performers going about their business, clad in elaborate traditional costumes, with dancers twirling, stamping and gyrating to a pulsating accompaniment of massed drumming. The art form originated as part of an all-night ceremony in honour of the god Kohomba, an elaborate ritual featuring some fifty dancers and ten drummers.

Day 2: Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

Stop At: Aadishakti Seeta Amman Temple. (Sita Mata Temple), Seetha Eliya, Sri Lanka
The Seetha Amman Temple is dedicated to Sita, the spouse of Lord Rama, arranged in the slopes of Nuwara Eliya, is treated with persevering dedication by Hindus, as it is thought to be the main such sanctuary on the planet. The temple is based in the Seetha Eliya village also called Sita Eliya. It is found five kilometers along the street from Nuwara Eliya to Kandy. This is where King Ravana held Sita imprisoned. It is seen in highly esteem by hindu followers.

Stop At: Damro Labookellie Tea Centre and Tea garden, Nuwara Eliya Sri Lanka
Damro possess over 5,000 hectares of lush tea plantations, spread across all major tea-growing regions in Sri Lanka, from the low lying valleys of Sabaragamuwa to the central hills at elevations exceeding 1,500 meters. Located within these well-nurtured tea gardens, you would also come across 15 factories producing an array of Ceylon’s finest teas, ranging from Rotorvane, Orthodox, CTC and Green tea, largely to cater to the wide demands of local and international markets.“Damro Teas” in particular are lately renowned for promoting an assortment of premium teas, produced using the fresh handpicked harvest from tea fields that carpet the western slopes of Nuwara Eliya and are widely sought after by connoisseurs of this beverage & mostly by those who longed for the tastiest cup of Ceylon tea.

Stop At: Gregory Lake, Nuwara Eliya Sri Lanka
Lake Gregory is a prominent attraction used for water sports and recreational activities. It was built by the British governor, Gregory in 1874. The Gregory Lake expands for 91.2 hectares and nourished with water from Nanuoya, floating through the city. Perhaps the lakeside is replete for a romantic evening or stroll around. Actually, it is the best place in Nuwara Eliya to enjoy your holidays.

Stop At: Victoria Park of Nuwara Eliya, A5, Nuwara Eliya 22200 Sri Lanka
The queen Victoria Park, established in memory of 60th Jubilee coronation of Queen Victoria is located within the city of Nuwara Eliya. Today the park covers an area about 27 acres. The park is ideal to relax and enjoy the nature while strolling the vicinity. The park houses a wide range of trees and plants. Among them, 90% are foreign plants. The main features are the roses and orchids. The queen Victoria Park gets full of visitors during the months of April whereas the April Season begins.

Day 3: Nuwara Eliya - Ella

Stop At: Demodara Nine Arch Bridge, Gotuwala, Ella 90090 Sri Lanka
The Nine Arch Bridge, also known as The Bridge In The Sky, is a man-made masterpiece, ideally located in the ‘hill country’ of Ella, Sri Lanka. This engineering marvel is located in Demodara, between the Ella and Demodara railway stations. This stone brick and cement structure is synonymous with the name it carries, and it’s nine arch construction has become a tourist hotspot. Standing at 80ft tall, 25ft wide and 300ft tall, the bridge and its surrounding area have seen a huge increase in tourism due to the bridge’s architectural ingenuity and the plentiful foliage in the nearby hillsides. It is definitely a sight to behold if you’re travelling through Ella.

Ella Rock is one of the must-sees in Ella, a place which is becoming increasingly touristy and even brands itself as a 'tourist town' offering panoramic views of the Ella Gap and Little Adam's Peak, the hike is an arduous upward climb and you're guaranteed to lose yourselves among tea estates, hills, and tall shrubs.

Little Adam’s Peak attracts many travelers who come to Sri Lanka. Gradually with an easy hike up to the mountain of Little Adams Peak you can consummation a worth panoramic view. You have to walk through lush green tea plantations, waterfalls and paddy fields while enjoying the sceneries.

Day 4: Ella - Yala

Stop At: Yala National Park, Sri Lanka
Yala was designated a wildlife sanctuary in 1900 and was designated a national park in 1938. Ironically, the park was initially used as a hunting ground for the elite under British rule. Yala is home to 44 varieties of mammal and 215 bird species. Among its more famous residents are the world’s biggest concentration of leopards, majestic elephants, sloth bears, sambars, jackals, spotted dear, peacocks, and crocodiles. Enjoy a safari in the park to adventure more.

Day 5: Yala - Galle - Negombo

Stop At: Galle Fort, Church Street, Galle 80000 Sri Lanka
Galle fort is a UNESCO world heritage site built by the Portuguese on the Southwestern coast of Sri Lanka. The initial fortifications, which were built in the late 16th century, were quite basic. However the fort underwent extensive modifications in the 17th century by the Dutch, making it one of the most important archaeological, architectural and historic monuments to illustrate the European influence in South East Asia between the 16th and 19th centuries.

Stop At: Galle Fort Lighthouse, Rampart Street Galle Fort, Galle 80000 Sri Lanka
Originally one of Sri Lanka’s oldest lighthouses, built in 1848, it was unfortunately destroyed in a fire in 1934, before being rebuilt in 1939. It is located at the southern end within Galle Fort, with a view overlooking Galle Harbor.

Stop At: Sea Turtle Farm and Hatchery, Matara Road Between posts 128km and 129km, Habaraduwa 80630 Sri Lanka
The Galle Sea Turtle Farm and Hatchery is an NPO found in Habaraduwa, Galle district. There, they educate visitors about sea turtles and why they are endangered in Sri Lanka. The Hatchery finds sea turtle eggs, incubates them in safety, and releases hatchlings back into the oceans. They also take in sick and injured turtles to be treated before releasing them to sea.

Stop At: Galle National Museum, Church St, Galle 80000 Sri Lanka
It was built in 1671 by the Dutch as a warehouse, but was established as a museum in 1971. After sustaining some damage in the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami, it was closed for three years before re-opening. It displays marine artifacts found underwater including maps, naval craft, ropes, earthenware, beer mugs, smoking pipes, barrels, vast amount of articles including artillery guns and sailor shoes the majority of which are retrieved from shipwrecks.
