1St day (Arrival – Habarana)
Arrival at Colombo International Airport, processing of entry and baggage collection formalities. Meeting with the guide and transfer to Habarana. Lunch in process of transfer to the hotel. The afternoon is dedicated to a Village Safari Tour, an interesting experience that will allow you to get in touch with the rural life of the local population. The excursion will be carried out using the usual local means, starting on board the typical tuk tuks, continuing on carts pulled by oxen and ending a boat ride. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Habarana and / or Dambulla.
2nd day (Habarana)
Breakfast. Morning dedicated to the excursion to the Rock Fortress of Sigiriya. Located 300 meters high, it was built on top of a red stone monolith overlooking a harmonious set of gardens. The palace built on the summit can be reached by a narrow staircase that winds between the huge paws of a stone lion. Lunch during the excursion. 3rd day (Habarana – Kandy)
Breakfast. Departure to Kandy with a stop along the way the visit to the Cave Temples of Dambulla, historical-religious place where they are kept in five different caves 150 statues of the Buddha. 4th day (Kandy – Colombo)
Breakfast. Visit the beautiful Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, located 6 km from Kandy which extend over 60 hectares of land. These gardens are considered among the richest in the world for the variety of ornamental species and spices that they host. To the
continuation of the Pinnawela Orphanage, famous place for the orphanage of the elephants that have been lost from their natural environment. Lunch in a restaurant in Pinnawala. In the afternoon transfer to Colombo. Arrival and short tour of the commercial capital of the country. Accommodation, dinner and overnight at hotel in Colombo.
5th day (Departure)
Breakfast. Transfer in good time to the airport for flights back to the city of origin.
