Day 1: Welcome at the airport or pick up from hotel and transfer to Anuradhapura

Stop At: Mihintale, Mihintale, North Central Province
On arriving to Sri Lanka, meet and assist at the airport by our tourist chauffer and transfer to Anuradhapura.
In the afternoon (3.00 pm) visit to Peak Mihintalaya which is near to Anuradhapura city became the reason to introduced the presence of Buddhism in Sri Lanka. you can see marvellous creations like Ambasthale Dagoba, Sinha pokuna (lions pond), Mihintale ruins, Aradhana gala, Monks refectory & Relic house, Kantaka chaithya, Mahaseya dagoba, snake pool, Elephant Monastery ,Kaludiya pokuna, Hospital, Dagoba of the Needle, assembly hall, Mahinda’s cave, Bodhi tree, ancient granite stairway, statue of king Devanampiya Tissa wearing traditional dress, Relic house, Museum & The remains of a quincunx of buildings.Don’t forget to watch the picturesque view of the evening sunset at the peak Mihintalaya. In the evening proceed to Anuradhapura.

Day 2: Anuradhapura- Ritigala- Dambulla-Sigiriya

Stop At: Anuradhapura, Anuradhapura, North Central Province
Proceed breakfast from the hotel and transfer to the Sacred city of Anuradhapura.
Anuradhapura is the first man made ancient capital of Sri Lanka and a UNESCO world heritage site. There are many important Buddhist constructions in Anuradhapura. You can experience the local tradition of offerings to the Bo tree, three times per day by local pilgrims. The Bo tree is a branch of the sacred Bo tree from India which Buddha gained enlightenment. This known as most ancient historic tree in the world. Modern engineers were surprised when they realized the main three stupas were constructed as the corners of a triangle when they see from the sky. The three main stupa’s Jethavanaramaya, Abayagiriya, Ruvanweliseya and Anuradhapura archeological museum are main attractions at the site.

Stop At: Ritigala Forest Monastery, Anuradhapura Sri Lanka
In the afternoon an easy walk to Ritigala forest monastery. Ritigala is the place which difficult to reach and largely skipped by tourists, the archaeological site is the kind of place in which it's easy to imagine how the Indiana Jones hunting in the movie. According to the Ramayan legend lord Hanuman accidentally dropped a chunk of Himalayan mountain here with large number of healing herbals to cure Lord Rama. Also, you can see the ruins of Buddhist monastery inside of the Ritigala premises.

In the evening you will proceed to Dambulla Rock cave Temple. You will see the five cave temples which contains large number of statues & Buddhist paintings. This temple known as one of the largest and well-preserved temples in Sri Lanka.

Day 3: Sigiriya-Minneriya-Sigiriya

Stop At: Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress, Main Road, Sigiriya 21120 Sri Lanka
Proceed breakfast from the hotel and transfer to the world 8th wonder Sigiriya at 7.00 am to watch the beautiful view of the sunrise.
This marvellous creation named as the 8th wonder of the world because of its majestic architecture. Also, Sigiriya nominated as the largest and the sophisticated single project in ancient Sri Lanka. in the reign of king Kassapa this massive rock converted to a citadel for him and his harem. This giant rock is 600 feet high and you can see water fountains, ponds, pavilions and garden terrace, mirror wall with graffities & frescos, lion’s paw platform, cobra hood cave and limestone staircases. After the death of king Kassapa this palace was abandoned and converted this into a Buddhist monastery until the 14th century. Irrigation system and the architecture of Sigiriya become the major reason to become this as 8th wonder of the world and must visit the place at least once in your lifetime.

After your visit to Sigiriya rock you can visit to Pidurangala rock & the Uppalavanna Kashyapa Giri temple which built by King Kassapa.

Stop At: Minneriya National Park, Maradankadawala-Habarana-Thirukkondaiadimadu Highway, Habarana 50150 Sri Lanka
After your village tour you will proceed to Minneriya National park to enjoy the Sri Lankan wild life with a great safari experience. Minneriya National park is famous with the view of largest wild Asian elephant gatherings. (03 hours jeep safari in Park)

Day 4: Sigiriya-Polonnaruwa-Pasikudah Drop

Stop At: Polonnaruwa, Polonnaruwa, North Central Province
Proceed breakfast from the hotel and transfer to the ancient kingdom Polonnaruwa.

From 11th to 13th century Polonnaruwa become the glorious & prestigious capital of Sri Lanka. Polonnaruwa is a UNESCO world heritage site and you can see best preserved religious and cultural monuments & shrines. Polonnaruwa represents the shrines and the monuments which has the blend of south Indian Hindu culture and the Buddhism. So Hindu & Buddhist devotees coming to Polonnaruwa to offer their great respect to their shrines. To gain knowledge about the history, heritage, culture and the architecture visit to Polonnaruwa Museum. Before begin the tour, you will purchase entrance ticket and refer information about the site from tourist information center at Polonnaruwa.

We will provide bicycle for a cycling tour in Polonnaruwa ancient city.

Sigiriya to Polonnaruwa 1.00 to 1.30 hours travel time -56km Travel distance

In the afternoon you will proceed to Pasikudah/ Trincomalee/ Kandy. Our driver will drop you to your hotel in Trincomalee/ Pasikudah or Kandy to end up your tour with us.
