Day 1: DAY 01- : AIRPORT- GALLE

Stop At: Colombo Airport Transfer, Colombo Sri Lanka
Upon your arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be given a warm welcome by your Destinations Guide who will escort you to your vehicle. Transfer to Galle and check into your hotel (3 hour drive). Accommodation: 2 nights in Galle.

Day 2: DAY 02- : MIRISSA - GALLE

Stop At: Mirissa Beach, Mirissa 81740 Sri Lanka
Set out early this morning with a packed breakfast to Mirissa Fisheries Harbour and head out to the sea to look for the largest mammal that has ever lived in the sea, the Blue Whale. Mirissa in southern Sri Lanka is regarded as the world’s top location for sightings of whales and pods of dolphins.

Afternoon embark on a city tour of Galle where you will get the opportunity to see the Dutch hospital, Martin Wickramasinghe Folk Museum Complex and many more and then walk through the cobbled streets of Fort Galle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by the Portuguese and fortified by the Dutch, while stumbling upon fashionable dress boutiques, old houses with porticos, antique shops and hip restaurants

Day 3: DAY 03- : HABARADUWA - YALA

Stop At: Yala National Park, Sri Lanka
After an early breakfast visit the Turtle Hatchery in Habaraduwa - The Green Turtle, Leatherback Turtle, Hawksbill Turtle, Olive Ridley and the Loggerhead Turtle are among five of the world’s seven species of sea turtles that nest on the beaches of Sri Lanka.

After lunch at a local restaurant in the afternoon you head towards Yala. Check into your hotel in Yala and get prepared for an afternoon game drive into the Yala National Park.

Yala National Park hosts the widest selection of wildlife to be found on the island and rest reassured that your chances of seeing leopards, elephants, deer, crocodiles, jackals, monkeys, mongooses, water and land monitor lizards, buffalo, wild boar, sloth bears, and 220 or so different species of birds are much higher

Day 4: DAY 04- : BUNDALA - UDAWALAWE

Stop At: Uda Walawe National Park Sri Lanka
After breakfast this morning, hop on a jeep and take a game drive into the Bundala National Park.

This park is an internationally recognized RAMSAR Wetland, which is a haven for migratory water birds and waders. Sightings also include the Sri Lankan Elephant, the Grey Langur monkey, freshwater Crocodile species known as the Mugger, as well as the occasional Saltwater Crocodile which is the largest species of reptile in the world.

Thereafter we have lunch at a local restaurant and then proceed to visit the Udawalawe National Park.

With ample water and rich nutrition from the scrub jungles and grasslands, Udawalawe is a stronghold of the Asian Elephant and one of the best places to see them in the wild year-round. Udawalawe also has occasional sightings of the Jungle Cat, an elusive medium sized feline. The park is an excellent biding destination too especially for dry-zone species and raptors. Changeable Hawk Eagle, Grey-headed Fishing Eagle, Crested Serpent Eagle, White-bellied Sea Eagle, Black-shouldered Kite, Shikra, Oriental Honey Buzzard, Common Kestrel and Brown Fish Owl are some of the raptors regularly encountered here.

Day 5: DAY 05- : UDAWALAWE – SINHARAJA

Stop At: Sinharaja Forest Reserve, Sinharaja Access Road, Mederipitiya, Deniyaya, Galle 81524 Sri Lanka
After breakfast, you check out from the hotel and head towards Sinharaja (3 hours drive) check into your hotel. Thereafter you visit the Sinharaja National Park.

The largest tract of natural rainforest in Sri Lanka, the Sinharaja Forest Reserve contains a wide variety of endemic flora and fauna. It is a top birding location where 28 of Sri Lanka’ 34 endemic species have been recorded. The mixed species bird flocks found moving through the rainforest canopy within Sinharaja are believed to be the longest studied and largest in the world, which is popularly dubbed as the Sinharaja Birdwave

Day 6: Day 6 - AIRPORT

After breakfast you checkout from your hotel, you will be transferred back to the airport to catch your flight back home.
