Day 1:

Colombo – Sigiriya Meeting and greeting upon your arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo, you will be met by our tour representative and then proceed to Sigiriya. Check in at the hotel, and enjoy the rest of the day to relax at your leisure. Overnight at Sigiriya

Day 2:

 Sigiriya – Anuradhapura – Mihintale – Sigiriya After breakfast, Travel to the sacred city of Anuradhapura — a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk through the ruins and discover ancient Buddhist monasteries and temples followed by a visit to Mihintale in the afternoon. Overnight stay at Sigiriya.

Day 3:

Sigiriya – Polonnaruwa – Sigiriya After breakfast, visit and climb the famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Afterward, Proceed on a sightseeing tour in Polonnaruwa Ancient City. Overnight stay at Sigiriya.

Day 4:

Sigiriya – Dambulla – Kandy After breakfast, Tour the impressive Dambulla Cave Temple and admire ancient Buddhist murals and statues then visit a spice garden in Matale to learn about the therapeutic uses of local spices. Continue on to Kandy and enjoy a tour of the Temple of the Tooth, which houses an important relic — a tooth of Lord Buddha kept in a well-preserved golden casket. This evening, listen to some traditional music at a cultural show. Overnight stay at Kandy

Day 5:

Kandy – Nuwara Eliya After breakfast, tour the city of Kandy and go souvenir shopping. Then visit the Royal Botanical Garden before continuing to Nuwaraeliya, Travel through scenic mountains to the tea-producing town of NuwaraEliya, stopping at a traditional tea plantation in the central highlands to gain insight into the process of growing tea and its effect on the Ceylon region. Overnight stay at NuwaraEliya.

Day 6:

Nuwara Eliya – Tissamaharama After breakfast, depart for Nuwaraeliya, leave for Udawalawe national park or Yala national on the way Rawanafalls & Evening safari by jeep. Overnight sleep at Tissa.

Day 7:

 Tissamaharama – Galle – Colombo After breakfast, transfer back to Colombo, visiting Hambantota Salters and the Stilt Fisherman at Weligama en route, followed by the Galle Fort overnight stay at Hikkaduwa beach.

 

Day 8:

Leave for Colombo on southern expressway, according to the time available last minute shopping at Colombo city, transfer to the Airport 2 hours before the departure time.
