Pass By: Oerestad, Arne Jacobsens Alle 12, Copenhagen 2300 Denmark
We cross Copenhagen harbour and then travel into Orestad. The whole suburb is new with some of Denmark's best modern architecture. After telling the story of Orestad, we travel through Vest Amager, past family homes from the 1970s, standing on long, orderly streets. Then we enter the countryside, telling our visitors about the history of Kongenlund and why it was planted.
Stop At: Dragor Havn, Gl. Havn 2, Copenhagen 2791 Denmark
Coming to Dragor we talk about the history of this pretty fishing village, including its Dutch connections and encourage people to explore it. There is time here to eat, to walk down to the sea, to visit Dragor Fort and to do some shopping in the interesting little independent shops. After this and a photo-stop to get a picture of the Oresund Bridge, we travel around the side of Copenhagen Airport, telling the story of its history, from sheep eating the grass on the runway, to today's successful gateway to the world, that handles 29 million passengers per year.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Oresund Bridge, E20, Malmo 216 30 Sweden
Then we approach Broen, The Oresund Bridge, made famous by the television series of the same name.
Duration: 5 minutes

This was a short trip from Copenhagen, but very informative and interesting. We had a terrific bus driver who also was the tour leader. We were 6 people on a full size bus, and while the other 4 went on to Malmo, we were picked up by a private car, and driven directly to the shuttle bus to return to our cruise ship, Crystal Serenity. Viator's contracted company was wonderful.
