About this activity
Relax aboard your air-conditioned minibus on the journey out of Copenhagen, and get to know your small group. Your journey east lasts less than an hour and passes over the famous Øresund Bridge that connects the two countries.
When you arrive, you will get handsout with walking route suggestions so you can explore the city on your own. Perhaps stroll around the two main squares of Stora Torget and Lilla Torget, or make use of the favourable currency and hit the Malmö shops. Pay homage to the city’s contemporary art scene with a visit to Moderna Museet Malmö, housed within a former electric power station, and marvel at its exhibits of modern art by Picasso, Dali, Matisse and more. Entrance fees to any attractions are at your own expense.
A canal boat tour is included with your day trip, so, when the time comes, hop aboard a boat for your 1-hour cruise. Meander along canals and under bridges as you circle Malmö Old Town, and listen to a narrative about Swedish history and well-known characters, monuments and stories.
In the late afternoon, return to your minibus and relax on your journey back to Denmark. Your tour finishes with a drop-off at the start point.

Other than the complete confusion finding the pickup point and then having to wait another hour plus to actually leave. Don’t understand why we had to be there at 9;45 only to leave at 11 when we were told the trip departed at 10. Follow the coordinates to get to the pickup point. Malmo was beautiful and the boat trip was fantastic. Wish we would have known that most of the small shops ere closed on Sundays.
Our tour guide was delightful. The city is beautiful and two and a half hours will give you a good feel for the city. We enjoyed the canal cruise after the walking tour. Critiques: the bus pickup location is not clearly described . We wandered around for a good 30 minutes trying to locate the pickup. It's on the city hall side of the street with a tiny marker indicating Stromma. The time of departure is incorrect on the booking information. it is 10:30 rather than 10:00. The Stromma Malmo maps indicate 3 routes but the route lines overlay the names of the streets so it makes it difficult to keep your barings. All minor inconveniences.
The trip to Malmo was great from start to finish. It was cold any rainy, but our tour guide/driver, Alex, warmed our hearts. He is very knowledgeable and very funny.

I was so excited to go on this tour along with 3 of my friends. Our Viator vouchers all showed 10:00am as the meeting time and we got there at 9:45am only to find out that the tour left at 9:30am. I asked if the time had recently been changed and the tour operator said no, it's always been that time so Viator definitely had the time wrong and we missed our trip.
Went on this tour and it was punctual, we drove to a scenic outlook point which was stunning. It helped that it was a clear, blue sky day. Malmo was a quaint little city. When we arrived the driver told us where to meet him when we were done. I asked for a tourist map of the area, then only did the driver say oh thats a good idea and went off and got a map. By then most of our group had left so the poor souls were wondering around aimlessly. The driver was either not very knowledgeable or just lazy. He said he would give more info on the way back, but it was radio silence. The canal tour was beautiful. This was a lovely tour but it could have ben better.
While Malmo was a beautiful city in Sweden, we felt we should have used the day to explore more of Copenhagen. It might have been better as part of a tour of Sweden!
Alex the driver was great. This was a low intensity and very pleasant trip.
