Arrival at the archaeological area of Butrint. Tour lasts between 90-110 minutes depending on age. We booked our trip 2 days in advance with transfer from and back to our hotel and called the company to get information on where exactly to be picked up. The ferry trip to Albania was comfortable. There was a bit of commotion when we arrived at the Albanian port with the police officer not wanting to let passengers access the busses waiting for us but direct us to the port terminal first. Our guide was full of historical and cultural information which he provided in excellent English and very good German. We had a light but delicious lunch that was included and an our free time after visiting Butrint. Upon arrival in Corfu you must go through customs and than find the correct that takes you to your hotel. I highly recommend it.
We were impressed with how organised this tour was. We really enjoyed the picturesque boat trip to Saranda. Butrint national park was very interesting and has amazing views across the lake. Pleased we chose the Butrint option as there wasn't that much to do in Saranda. Everything was very organised and the staff were extremely friendly on this tour.
