Roatan is pretty small, yet it's hard to understand the scope of the island and what there is. If you're already signed up for diving and/or going to see the monkeys and sloths, this trip gives you a good overview of the rest of Roatan. Our driver, Shirvin, was honestly the best of the dozens of drivers we've had globally in the past 10 yrs -- he was a great deal of fun to be with, he knew everything about the island, he was flexible and responsive to our needs and requests, and he has the world's best laugh. We were able to see the scope of the island and the different areas, visit a small rum factory and an even smaller chocolate factory, buy some souvenirs from a socially responsible vendor, and check out West Beach, all before eating a great lunch. Strongly recommend.
