About this activity
Meet up with your teammates at the hosted starting line on the island of Cozumel where you’ll receive your first clue. (Players sign up in teams of two to eight people; solo players are welcome and will be placed on a team.) Then embark on your 4.5-hour self-guided tour that combines the best sightseeing with the spirited competition of a scavenger hunt.
Solve your first clue with the help of your savvy team and you’re on your way, with each puzzle leading you to another sightseeing location with a new clue. The team that solves all the clues and crosses the finish line in the least amount of time is crowned the winner.
You’ll need your wits, energy and sense of adventure as you race against time and competing teams while experiencing all Cozumel has to offer. Along the way, enjoy a brief plunge in the ocean on an optional snorkeling trip. At the finish line, enjoy some much deserved snacks and two complimentary beverages per participant.
Your amazing race tour includes a post-race awards ceremony at a local restaurant for a light snack and refreshing beverages. Wrap up the afternoon around 3pm with prizes for top finishers while you eat, drink and make merry with other players and exchange stories from the field. A discounted meal is available for purchase during the ceremony (own expense).

This is our first time to Cozumel and we had a blast. Our tour hosts, Patty and Martin were awesome and made us feel at ease. We grabbed a taxi and met at the designated area. The area where we started the race is a little hard to find and is not in a super touristy part of the downtown. Show up on time, because if you get there early there is nothing to do and there's not really anywhere to shop there. Patty and Martin explained exactly how the race would work, where we would need to go and they even give you a phone in case you get lost. However, this is just an added bonus because the entire area isn't super big and its fairly straightforward. Overall the race was super fun, we got to go to all kinds of different shops and the clues are super creative and interesting. My favorite part was getting to snorkel as a means to find a clue. The whole thing took a about 3-4 hours, we were back in plenty of time to get on the cruise boat. At the end they had a reward ceremony to you can get food at a the restaurant where the last clue is. The food is great! Again, super creative stuff and a lot of fun. My wife and I enjoyed this much more that shopping or just going on the typical excursion. Thanks amazing Cozumel race!!
I signed the kids in our group ages: 18, 23 and 23 up for this excursion. They had so much fun and had so many fun things to tell us when they returned. The people who ran the excursion where great! Highly recommend for something a little different.
This was an excellent adventure! It was so organized and Alonzo and team made it so fun! It was a treat to engage with the locals who participated in giving us clues and to visit interesting places, museums, a market, etc...I highly recommend doing this.
This honestly was such a great activity for our family to work together and rely on each other. Each person brought something valuable to the group in order to accomplish the tasks. Great bonding activity and team building for sure!
This tour was an absolute BLAST! I do wish they put more importance on the TIMEs teams get, because my wife and I wanted to set a course record... we got 1:37, if anyone wants a time to shoot for. :D The other bunch of you that just want to do it as a leisurely thing, that's a great way to see the city as well. I recommend this tour for both competitive fun and also relaxing fun. Great job was done by all on this fun adventure!
