We enjoyed the Cacao Workshop, the tour guide that we had was very knowledgeable and it made the workshop very enjoyable.

You will not take a better tour than this the garden of Mexico in miniature, making cocoa, the pole flyers and lunch were fantastic. This is a highlight for a day in Cozumel.

If your group includes young children or elderly then this is the tour for you. We booked the first tour of the day and ended up sitting around waiting for the group to get big enough. We were on time but waited 1 hour for more people to show. The miniature cities were nice to look at. They had information in 3 languages next to them. There was a brief slide show and some replica art work to view also. The chocolate making was interesting. We thought we were going to make a chocolate candy bar but instead we each made a chocolate bar that makes a chocolate drink when mixed with hot milk or water. We also got to taste the different kinds of chocolate. We also sampled mole sauce with chips. What really turned us off was the asking to be tipped. We have been to Cozumel at least 10 times we are not new to this area. The bathroom attendant, the young lady who cleans up the chocolate room, the guy with a sombrero and donkey all asked repeatedly for tips. Our guide made us sit around and wait for late people so his tips would not be affected. We felt like we're held hostage going through the park. We didn't get to see the dancers because we were done with this place after 25 minutes. We had to make our way into town to go to our regular lunch truck. Like I said earlier it's ok if you have young children or elderly in your group. Maybe the tequila tour is better? This was not worth the money. The 2 chocolate pucks we made were the most expensive chocolate we have ever made.
