Playa Mia Grand Beach Park is located in the south part of the island, just a 15-minute ride down the coastal road from downtown Cozumel. Make your way to the park whenever you’d like—it’s open from 9am to 6pm—and stay all day if you’d like. Have a blast with family and friends, using your day pass to enjoy a range of exciting activities for all ages. With several day pass options (see descriptions below), you’ll find everything you need for a fun-filled, carefree day!
Explore the water park, which boasts more than 20 attractions. Let the kids go wild at Buccaneer’s Bay or swim in a lagoon pool full of fun activities, including a pirate ship, water cannons, water sprays and animal slides. Jump into the Oasis Island pool and hydro-massage tub or make a splash on the 200-foot-long (60-meter-long) Twin Twister waterslides.
Enjoy the best of the Caribbean at the famous beach park, an ideal place to swim in the crystal-clear waters of the sea, sunbathe on the white-sand beach and have a blast in the Floating Park—an amazing floating circuit packed with adrenaline-filled fun! Whenever you're ready, make your way back to your hotel, enjoying the day at your own pace and on your own time.

All guests must wipe-off any sun lotion residues or shower BEFORE entering either the ocean or Playa Mia’s pools. We suggest the use of long-sleeved UV-filtering shirts, hats, and sunglasses to protect yourself from the sun. Coral, fish and all other sea creatures thank you for your cooperation! Overall a good experience, food was OK, The beach was crowded tho. The kids water park was nice. Good place to go w the small children. Beach water was OK there were skies and boats all over tho with limiting swim area. But the water full of seaweeds that day prob from a storm.
There were beer bottlelids, cigarette butts on the beach. The food was terrible the cold food was hot the hot food was cold and the people that work there their families come there to use the area and the kids just run up stick their hands in the food, one even licked the watermelon and put it back, just nasty! I don't recommend this place to anyone there are other beaches and water parks available.
Not knowing the area not knowing where to go I found this searching on the internet for things to do in Cozumel. Perfect choice for family. Clean, courteous workers, lots to do for price. Did not include transportation or food in our package. No problem with getting a taxi on our own time to/from ship to park. Food buffet looked good. Viator customer service was very cooperative and helpful.
We really enjoyed this excursion. Our group was two 50 year olds, two 30 year olds, and one 4 year old. The beach was very nice and not crowded, and the floating water park was fun. Our four year old grandson loved it. Beach chairs were free, and umbrellas were only $8, but they refunded you $4 when you returned them. We bought lunch instead of buffet, and it was good and inexpensive. The children’s water park was fantastic. The only negative was that we had to pay for a cab ride. $23 each way for five people which ok, however I thought this was included as info about transportation was included with my confirmation/voucher. Most likely was my mistake but just be sure to check what is included with the package you buy. Overall we would definitely recommend this trip.
The beach was clean and not rocky. Wait staff was great but the food needs lots of improving. The best part about the buffet was the fruit.

This park is great for the whole family. Buffet food and drinks were very good. Bring your mask and snorkel for an up close look at the coral and fish just off the beach.
Perfect stop for families with small children. Plenty of beach space with great chairs. Awesome buffet. Great kids splash pad. Highly recommended.
