Stop At: Hotel Santa Lucia, Planta Baja, Calle:Presidente Borrero, Exterior: 8-44, Cuenca 010101, Ecuador

9:00 a.m. Pick-up at the hotel.
The visit in the beautiful city of Cuenca includes places such as the picturesque and traditional Barrio of San Sebastián, the Museum of Modern Art, Calderón Park (central park), the Flower Plaza, the Sagrario Cathedral (Old Cathedral), and the Immaculate Conception Cathedral (New Cathedral), considered the largest in Latin America.

Also included is a visit to a famous Panama Hat Factory where you can observe the making of the finest hats.

In addition we go through the majestic and enchanting Barranco, where architecture and natural surroundings are joined.

Finally, we arrive at the “Turi Lookout”, where the landscape of a valley filled with red tiled roofs and blue domes is bordered by impressive mountains. Along the way we visit the Home-Ceramics Workshop of Eduardo Vega, the famous Cuenca ceramics maker.

Return to hotel.

IMPORTANT:
The City Tour can be made in the morning or the afternoon. The half-day tour lasts 4 hours. It is not recommended to take the tour on Sunday because most establishments are closed and there is little activity.

Recommendations For Tourists:
Wear comfortable shoes for walking in the city. Sun screen, a windbreaker, and rain gear are suggested. Drinks: bottled water, juices. Cash for entrance fees.
