Itinerary

Day 1: ARRIVAL TO CUSCO AND CITY TOUR

Stop At: Cusco 08007, Peru
Upon your arrival in Cusco, a representative of “Waman Adventures” will meet you at the airport to assist you with transportation and take to your respective hotel.

In the afternoon, you will take the famous City Tour. This tour begins with a visit to Sacsayhuaman, one of the most emblematic buildings of the Inca Empire (a few minutes from the city center, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO), built by the Inca Pachacutec in the 15th century. It is a vast fortress built from huge stones. How were they transported and worked? It remains a mystery. It has been calculated that what we see today is only twenty percent of the original structure, because when the Conquerors arrived they used their stones for the construction of new buildings such as the catedral and other churches.
