About this activity

Day 1: Arrive to Cusco.

As soon as you arrive to the local Cusco airport, a Valencia Cusco representative will take care of you and transfer you to your hotel in the city centre.

Day 2: Open day at leisure

This day is for you to explore Cusco at your own pace and know more about the Inca city. There is also an option available for this Ausangate Trek and Machu Picchu 11 Days tour. You can visit the Sacred Valley to an extra cost (45 USD) and visit Pisac and Chinchero market.

Day 3: The adventure begins from Cusco to Upis:

We will be leaving early Cusco in our way to Cattca village in direction to pass Tinki village where it will be the starting point of our Ausangate Trek. This is an extraordinary trekking, with a fantastic landscape around us.

Day 4: Upis - Ausangatecocha

This time, we have to reach ‘La Arapa’ pass which is 2 hour hike until we have a break and lunch there. This area features three beautiful lakes. After will we reach our second campsite at Ausangatecocha.

Day 5: Ausangateqocha - Q´Ampa

We will be trekking, the Abra Palomani at 5,200m /17,056 ft, pass Pampacancha 4050m/13,284ft until we get to Q´ampa at 4300m/14104ff.

Day 6: Q´Ampa - Pacchanta

Visit the lagoon of Qomerqocha before arriving at

Pacchanta village at 4,100m / 13,448ft and camp there.

Day 7: Pacchanta - Tinki - Cusco

We leave Pacchanta to start our way back to Tinki and get our private vehicle back to

Cusco city.

Day 8:Time at leisure

After breakfast, enjoy the beauty of Cusco with the optional tours.

Day 9: On the way to Aguas Calientes (Machupicchu town)

We will pick you up at 8:00am and take a beautiful train journey to Aguas Calientes where you will spend the night.

Day 10 :Machu Picchu in its a Glory – Big Day!

Early as 5:30am you will get a bus to get to a spot near incredible Machu Picchu Inca citadel. We are aiming to get the sunrise and discover the splendour of this ancient place. A 2 hours walking tour will be provided by your guide and after yourselves can freely walk around. Then we will board the train back to Poroy train station and get transfer back to your hotel in Cusco.

Day 11: Transfer out, bye Cusco!

After breakfast, we will take you back to the airport according your flight itinerary.
