2-Day Tour: Machu Picchu with Montaña Machu Picchu

Itinerary

Day 1: Cuzco - Aguas Calientes town (Overnight)

Stop At: Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu, Machu Picchu Peru
We will pick you up from your hotel with our ground transportation at 8:00 a.m. and drive to the train station approximately two hours. There we will take the train at around 12:36 hrs or 12:55 hrs. The train goes through lush fields and colorful villages in the foothills of the Andes, and has great views of the mountains and of the beautiful (Vilcanota river) which runs through the Sacred Valley. When you arrive at Aguas Calientes, our staff will be waiting for you at the train station to take you to your selected hotel around 14:25 hrs. Our local guide will see you at your hotel around (19:30 hrs) and brief you about the next day tour. You will have the afternoon free to explore by your own, visit the hot springs take your swimming suit, or go to walk to the Machu Picchu museum, or around the beautiful town. You can taste Peruvian dish at the restaurant of your choice in the town of Aguas Calientes lot of facilities.

Day 2: Explore Machu Picchu with Montaña Machu Picchu - Cuzco

Stop At: Machu Picchu, 08680, Peru
This morning you will wake up around 6:00 am then you will have breakfast at the hotel. At 7:00 am the guide will come to pick up and lead you the bus station which is located 10 minutes walking then you will board by bus to Machu Picchu for about 30 minutes. According to the new entry of Machu Picchu your entry is at 8:00 am then you will able to hike Montaña Machu Picchu check point which is located at 30 minutes walking, you entry starts at 9:00am to 10:00am this beautiful hike takes about 3 hours go up and go down. Upon your return you will able to go out to the Main check point use the bathroom and return again with our tour guide around 12:00 hrs. The tour guide will explain about 1.5 hour visiting the most interesting places of Machu Picchu. At 14:30 you will then be able to take the bus back to Aguas Calientes town, and have free time to get lunch. At about 18:20 or 19:00 hrs Departs your train back to Ollantaytambo and then you will take a bus to arrive in Cuzco San Francisco Square at about 22:45 hrs. End our service
