Day 1:
The Inca trail adventure to Machu Picchu begins:
Pick you up from your hotel at 4:00 or 4:30am and travel by bus to Piskacucho There will be a breakfast stop in Ollantaytambo.
On arrival at kilometer 82 . The first day is relatively easy we will have great views of the site of an
Incan Fortress ('Huillca Raccay'), and incredible Incan site of Llactapata Our first campsite (Ayapata)
Day 2:
The Trail Trial! We go over 2 passes...
After waking up at 5:30 am will take a breakfast, we will start a steep ascent (Abra de Warrmihuañusca or Dead Woman's Pass). also we begin the descent for arrive Pacaymayu for the lunch . After lunch, begins the second two hour
steep climb to Runkuraqay , we arrive at our campsite by 5 pm.
Day 3:
Back in the past! Beautiful scenery!
We wake up for breakfast at 6am with a gentle climb to
visit the archaeological site of 'Phuyupatamarca . in this place will see the landscape of the heights until we arrive at our third campsite, Wiñay Wayna . Today, we will walk about 4 to 5 hours and have arrive at camp by lunch time. A short distance from this campsite is located the
Incan site of the same name, 'Wiñay Wayna' ('Forever Young').
Day 4:
Machu Picchu in its Glory + Aguas Calientes
We leave the last campsite at about 5:30am on the final day (breakfast is around 3:30-4:00am). It is an early start in order to get
to 'Inti Punku' ('Sun gate') . This is the place where you will have your
first dramatic view of Machu Picchu. Finally, we visit Machu Picchu itself! Walking tour (2 hours) is given by your guide and after this you can explore the mysterious city by yourselves. You will meet your guide in Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town) for lunch and check in at the hotel. After a nap, if there is still some energy, we will enjoy and
relax at the hot springs!
Day 5: Time go return back to Cusco!
After lunch, you’ll be given train tickets back to Cusco. Your
train will leave in the afternoon and so try to be at the train station 30 minutes before it leaves. The train included is until Ollantaytambo, where a representative of Valencia Travel Cusco will be waiting for you to take you back (private transportation) to
your hotel in Cusco.
