BRIEF ITINERARY
Day 1: Cusco - Bamboo Lodge: Today we will mainly focus on Bird Watching and walks along the Cloud forest of Manu where several species of birds as well as 3 species of monkeys can be observed,
Day 2: Bamboo Lodge - Reserved Zone of Manu National Park: Along the Alto Madre de Dios River we will observe several species of flora and fauna including the largest rodent in the word called “capybara”, and along Manu River we will have our first chance to find a Jaguar, we can also observe monkeys, caimans, macaws, parrots, toucans, and turtles.
Day 3: Reserved Zone of Manu National Park: This day we will explore with a catamaran the “Salvador Oxbow lake, in this lake we have chances to observe Giant otters and several species of monkeys.
Day 4: Reserved Zone of Manu National Park – Hummingbird Lodge: This day we will have our second chance to find the elusive Jaguar along Manu River.
Day 5: Hummingbird Lodge – Bamboo Lodge: This day we will start our journey back to Bamboo Lodge, the first part will be by boat and then by car.
Day 6: Bamboo Lodge – Cusco: This day we will start our journey back to Cusco, the arrival time is based on the tour activity and weather conditions.

- 5 nights accommodation: The Lodges provided are wooden lodges and the windows are covered with metal mosquitoes nets. Lodges include basic amenities like: Shared and Private bathrooms with showers and toilets, double based rooms, beds with bedding and mosquito nets. Some lodges will have hot water but most are just cold water.
