Itinerary

Day 1: CUSCO - SOCCMA - RAYANNIYOC

Stop At: Perolniyoq Waterfall, Apv- Tipon-n11, Ollantaytambo Peru
We will pick you up at 5:00 am from your hotel with our private transportation + guide, chef and porters, then we will drive into the sacred valley for 1 and half hour to get the trail head called Soccma village (the starting point of the hike 3000 m / 9,600 ft). Before hiking we will have our first delicious breakfast.

Here at Soccma you will meet your horsemen, horses, and your tour guide will introduce you all your team for this amazing journey. then you will be hiking little by little, after one hour of hiking up you will meet the beautiful waterfalls called Perolniyoc; along the way you will see and meet mostly local people which makes more amazing the hike, after the waterfalls you will keep hiking uphill to first Inca site called Qorimarca, your private tour guide will explain everything about included the Inca site, afterwards you will hike one more hour to get the first camping place called Rayanniyoc over 3700m.
In Rayanniyoc your amazing chef and porters will welcome you at first camping place. And for sure this is a good place to see the stars night sky full constellations.

Day 2: RAYANNIYOQ - KUYCHIQASA PASS - ANCASCOCHA

Stop At: Sacred Valley of the Incas, 0051 Peru
Our porters will wake you up at 5am with room service coca tea which is the best way to get up and get ready for the amazing adventure. We depart camp at about 6:30 AM to hike for approximately 3 hours uphill where we will see amazing and incredible views of the snow-capped peaks, llamas, alpacas, valleys and much more, and if we are lucky we may see condors – the largest bird in the Andes with a wing-span of up to 10 feet across. And eventually we reach the first pass called Kuychicassa (4,450 m /14,596 ft) where we take a break and enjoy the magnificent views of the Chancachuco Valley and the Sacred Valley of the Incas. And also as first time you will be able to get the views of the highest Mountains; Veronica Mountain (5800m/18560ft), Chicon Mountain (5700m/18240ft), Pitusiray Mountain (5750m/18400ft), Huallanay Mountain (5650m/18080ft), and much more.
Then we will start our descent hike for another one hour until we reach the location of our lunch place. After lunch we ascend for 30 min with beautiful views of Mountain Veronica (5,822 m/ 19,100 ft) and then there will be 3 and half hours of hiking downhill to reach the small community called Ancascocha (3,700 m/12,136 ft)

Day 3: ANCASCOCHA - HUAYANAY PASS - QESQA COMMUNITY

Stop At: Sacred Valley of the Incas, 0051 Peru
Views of a nearby glacier and lake and the well-preserved Inca trail are the highlight of this day. We will start our wake-up time with coca tea in your sleeping tent. (it will be like room service) After breakfast we get ready for this challenging day but you won’t get tired of the spectacular views. We begin hiking for about 3 hours along a zigzag trail up towards the Huayanay Pass (4,750 m/ 15,200 ft) which is the highest point of our Ancascocha Trek to Machu Picchu. While hiking today we will find and meet one of the originals Inca trails and also on the way, we see the beautiful waterfall that feeds into the Ancascocha Lake.

After this stunning view of the highest point, we descend for 2 hour until we reach the Inca site of Incaraqay, and also we will have lunch there. At this point we will hike downhill for 1 1/2 hours into greener vegetation. During this part of the trek we will have views of the classic Inca trail to MachuPicchu from far distance, and fascinating views of the Qesqa valley. Then we’ll reach our campsite called Qesqa community (3,800 m/12,200 ft).

Day 4: QESQA - PAUCARCANCHA - KILOMETER 82 - OLLANTAYTAMBO - AGUAS CALIENTES

Stop At: Paucarcancha Ruins, Machu Picchu Peru
From Qesqa village we will descend for 1 hours until we reach the Inca site of Paucarcancha. At the Inca site your Tour Guide will provide a tour. After the tour we will hike downhill for 4 hours with little uphill until we reach Km 82, which is part of the classic Inca trail and also marks the end of our hike. Along the way we will be able to see the Inca site of Llactapata, which is the first Inca site on the Classic Inca Trail. Our chef will provide you your last delicious lunch at Kilometer 82. After lunch you will say good bye your team (chef, and porters), so this is the time where you can organize some tips for them.

And then we will drive to Ollantaytambo train station for 30minutes. Ollantaytambo is a lovely small town and if we have time we can visit the town (2,792 m/9,158 ft). After visiting the town we will have dinner in Ollantaytatambo in one of the best restaurants. Then you will catch the train to Aguas Calientes, train journey will be for one hour and 40 minutes to Aguas Calientes (train services will depend on the season but normally is expedition service from ollantaytambo to Aguas calientes). Once you reach Aguas Calientes your tour guide will take you to your hotel.

Accommodation included: Hotel 3star: we are the only company who provides this type of accommodation (on day 4 at Aguas Calientes town)

Day 5: AGUAS CALIENTES - MACHU PICCHU - AGUAS CALIENTES - CUSCO

Stop At: Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu, Machu Picchu Peru
The most important and magical day! You will get up and have breakfast early at your hotel, because the first bus to Machupicchu is at 5:30am. If you want to enjoy it the sunrise at Machupicchu, you have to get early that will be the only way to observe the sunrise at Machupicchu site (organize the pick-up time with your Guide). You and your guide will drive half hour to get the Inca city Machupicchu. The Inca ruins Machupicchu opens every day at 6:00am. Your guidig tour at Machupicchu will take 2 hours approximately which you will explore with your guide. After your tour, you will have free time to explore by your own so you can explore the sun gate, inca bridge, Machupicchu Mountain or Huaynapicchu Mountain etc. Once you are finished exploring Machupicchu you will meet up with your tour guide at Aguas Calientes town who will provide your train ticket (train service is at 2:55pm). These tickets may be distributed earlier while you are still at Machupicchu.

Your transportation back in Cusco will be by train and private van. journey from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo town will be by train which will take 1 hour and half Then you will take for 2 hours by private van from Ollantaytambo to Cusco.

All transportation in Cusco or anywhere will be back to your hotel.
