Arin Waterfalls Sacred ruins of Urco with Andean Zipline

(8:30am) – Pick up from your hotel in the Sacred Valley and drive to the local Market of Small Producers.

(8:40am-9:00am) – We will visit the local market where we will have a brief explanation of its products and its vendors. There will be a light Andean style breakfast in the market.

(9:00am-9:30am) – Drive to the Sacred Ruins in Urco.

(9:30am-10:10am) – We will visit the hidden Sacred Ruins of Urco, with a brief explanation of the importance of the location and reference to local myths about the “Mother Stone” and the shadows of the Scared Mountain Apu Pitusiray.

(10:10am-10:30am) – We head to the community of Arin.

(10:30am-10:50am) – We will visit a local, traditional “Chichería”, the most important part of socio- cultural life in the Andes. We will try a glass of Chicha Jora and we will have a brief explanation of the making of and importance of this ancient Sacred Incan Beverage drink.

(10:50am-12:00pm) – Small trek to the beautiful Waterfalls of the community of Arin. We will have a breathtaking views

(12:00pm-1:00pm) – In the community of Huycho, an indigenous local “Mamacha” will be waiting for us in her own home with a delicious lunch cooked with ingredients native to the area and prepared using traditional, ceramic cookware. As we enter into the home of a native Andean, we gain a deeper understanding of life in the Sacred Valley of the Inkas.

(1:00pm-1:50pm) – Transportation will take us to the community of Raqchi surrounded by the stunning mountains of Chinchero.

(1:50pm- 3:00pm) – Flight in the Andean Zip Line in the mountains of Cusco.

(3:00pm-4:00pm) – Drive back to your hotel in the Sacred Valley.
