Ausangate Trek in Just 2 Days

Usually, the Ausangate circuit takes 4 or 5 days, even 6 in some cases. So, for those travelers who do not have that much time we have created a trek which is just as beautiful as the whole Ausangate trek, but takes much less time.

In just 2 days you will have the opportunity to see stunning landscapes of Andean snow-capped peaks, numerous mountain lakes and friendly local communities. You will reach almost 5000 m.a.s.l., as we pass through small villages high in the mountains, and you will learn about llama and alpaca farming as we meet herds of these animals along the way. At the end of the trek you can relax in the hot springs with the view of the Ausangate summit, the fifth highest mountain in Peru. Sound good?

And that’s not all. Due to the high attitude of the trek, and to offer a different experience, we also have an option to do the whole trip as a horse-riding tour, or a combination of the two with an option to do part of the trail hiking, and part horse-riding to give you the best of both worlds!
