My boyfriend and I went on this tour with our super wonderful and friendly guide Solange. There were only 8 of us on the tour and we drove around the mountains in a small van. The van picked us up around 6:30 AM at our location in the morning and we started the drive to the sacred valley. We stopped and walked around at Pisac, Maras, Moray, and Ollantaytambo. Solange was very informative and seemed to genuinely enjoy her time with our group and talking about the history of these places. We also stopped for some delicious empanadas, a lunch buffet (the buffet wasn't that great, but hey, it's included in the price) and some chicha. We were dropped off near the main square around 8PM because there was traffic coming back into Cusco. Half of our group decided to get dropped off at the train station at Ollantaytambo so they could go directly to Aguas Calientes that night and then Machu Picchu the next day (I think this was a great idea, so definitely consider this option in your plans). Overall, this was an amazing day with a great guide. Thank you for the experience!
