CHOQUEQUIRAO ENDING IN MACHU PICCHU 6D

6 days
About this activity
For undisturbed scenery plucked straight out of nature docs, i would like to say that Choquequirao trek is by far the best inca trail alternative but no it doesnt. There are some few others hidden as the route of the fruit connecting Cuzco with Colca Canyon also anothers available in Peru´s north circuit too.

Choquequirao-Machupicchu is hard, and takes you down and out of the canyon through Choquequirao Archealogical Complex rounding Salkantay´s North-west face Mountain, then along trails that eventually link with Machu Picchu; but you already know that the memories for lifetime usually are. Even though the trek is at low altitude, walking 1,500m negative dislevel into the valley followed by an 1,800m positive dislevel means is not a pice of cake. But, struggle through the tough parts, and you’ll get to experience an unbothered route to Machu Picchu and the rarely-explored ruins of Choquequirao in practical lonesomeness and is worth it.

Choquequirao as many call it the cradle of gold, and many also believe that it was built two hundred years before Machupicchu. Also Wrongly called as the sister of Machupicchu by those who have lack of info and then later try to become experts on the subject fortunately they are not but increasing misinformations and misunderstandings just because calling your attention. It is maybe the first best trek ever in Peru.
