Choquequirao Trek 3 Days by Lodge

Itinerary

Day 1: Day 1 : Cusco – Capuliyoc – Santa Rosa – Marampata.

Pass By: Sendero a Choquequirao, Caserio Marampata 08710, Peru
Between 3:30 and 4:00am we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco in our private transport, which take us to the city of San Pedro de Cachora (2800masl), then we will head to Kapuliyoq sector, where we start the hiking.

There in Kapuliyoq we will meet with the rest of our trip staff (muleteers and thier horses). We start our long walk that will take between 3 and 4 hours. During the way we can see a big diversity of landscapes that belong to different climates, like Padriyoc snowcapped , flora and fauna diversity that makes beautiful our trip. We will be able to see the most deep canon of the world, the Apurimac canon where the Apurimac River flows and also is posible to see the first views of Choquequirao. We will continue descending until Chikisqa, Where we have our Lunch Buffet and a short break.

After Lunch we will start with our last descent of the day, it will be about 3.5 hours approx towards the Marampata hamlet. When we arrive we will have dinner and spend the the night in our private Choquequiraotrek Lodge that count with all the accommodations.

Day 2: Day 2 : Marampata – Choquequirao – Marampata

Stop At: Choquequirao, Peru
Located in the mountain range of Vilcabamba, is the last refuge of the resistance of the Incas and the Andean wisdom “Choquequirao Trek 3 Days by Lodge“, hidden in the heart of the mountains, an inaccessible place that keeps mystery for the beauty of its constructions.

Located on the heights of the Apurimac River that still keeps charm and history.

Choquequirao is much more interesting and bigger than machupicchu. you can only appreciate 40% because the rest is still covered by vegetation.

Day 3: Day 3 : Marampata – Capuliyoc – Cusco

Pass By: Ruinas de Choquequirao, Cachora Peru
At dawn, approximatly at 5am after having a small refreshment we will start our descend hiking to Chikisqa, where we have breakfast at 7:00am and also take a small break, then we start our last descend hiking and return to Kapuliyoq viewpoint to make a farewell of this amaizing adventure, arriving to Kapuliyoq we will have an appetizer and will get in our private transport to return to Cusco city.
