Choquequirao Trek 5 days

DAY 1: CUSCO - CACHORA - CAPULIYOC - LA PLAYA

We will pick you up from your hotel at 4:30 am and drive to Capuliyoc, while you go through the city and passing through for Antapamapa, where you will see the highest mountains of the Cusco region. Go down to the town of Limatambo and visit the archaeological site of Tarawasi. You will pass through the town of Curawasi to reach the beginning of the road in Capuliyoc, along the way you will have the first views of the Apurimac canyon, which is one of the deepest in Peru, and you will arrive to Chiquiska for lunch, and walk until our camp at Playa Rosalinas.

DAY 2: LA PLAYA - MARAMPATA – CHOQUEKIRAW

After a delicious breakfast, cross a bridge and continue uphill to Marampata, on the way you will go through a sugarcane farm and stop for a delicious lunch, at the end you will continue climbing to our camp, which is at the foot of the Inca site. If you still have energy you can enjoy the sunset from the site of Choquekiraw Inca.

DAY 3 EXPLORE THE RUINS OF CHOQUEQUIRAO

Our staff will awaken you with a hot drink, to observe the mountain and the awakening of the birds, after breakfast you will explore the enigmatic site of Choquequiraw, all day long, you will see its beautiful terraces and well conserved sites, without limit and then return to our camp to rest from a great day.

DAY 4: CHOQUEKIRAW - MARAMPATA - LA PLAYA - CHIKISKA

Today is our second awakening in this beautiful and magical place, after breakfast, you will return to Maranpata, today, you will try to find the great biodiversity of the area, from the Maranpata area, in this pace you will start the trek downhill for 4 hours until You will arrive at La Playa on the route, your will have several breaks and enjoy local fruits, after reaching the beach you will continue walking to our camp in Chiquiska.

DAY 5: CHIKISKA – CAPULIYOC – CUSCO

After a delicious breakfast, you walk up a moderately difficult hill towards the Capuliyoc pass. Once there you will enjoy the spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and the Apurimac Canyon. You will then walk for 2 more hours to Cachora for lunch. Afterwards you take our private transport to the archeological site of Saywite having plenty of time to explore it. Finally, our private transport will take us back to Cusco and drop you off at your hotel, arriving in the evening around 8pm.
