Stop At: Pisac Peru

Begin your tour with an early pick up from your accommodation in Cusco. Head to the town of Pisaq and stop at El Mirador (famous lookout) for a glance at the beauty of the Sacred Valley. In Pisaq, visit the town’s local market for a few pictures and souvenirs and then head up to the town’s archaeological site for some insight into Inca history.

Stop At: Archaeological Park Ollantaytambo, Ollantaytambo 08676 Peru

Continue along the Sacred Valley to the next stop in the town of Urubamba for lunch and continue on to the town of Ollantaytambo. In Ollantaytambo, visit the town’s archaeological site - an Inca fortress with large terraces and a temple complex housing the well-known unfinished “Wall of Six Monoliths.” In Ollantaytambo you will also enjoy the town’s picturesque atmosphere.

Stop At: Complejo Arqueologico Chinchero, Chinchero Peru

Enjoy a visit to the small town of Chinchero. Chinchero was considered to be the mythical birthplace of the rainbow. Now, it houses a beautiful combination of sprawling Inka ruins and a colonial, baroque-style church from the sixteenth century. After a guided tour of the ruins and church, visit a small women-weaving community and enjoy an informative session of the weaving techniques and free time to browse around the endless supply of textiles and souvenirs.

Finish of your tour with your return to Cusco by car. Drop off at your accommodation in Cusco.
