Stop At: Plaza de Armas, Cusco Peru
Become a Pisco pro on this Cusco tour that will sharpen up your cocktail mixing skills, and help you to get to know local Peru culture at the same time. Because let’s face it, there are few better ways to get to know a nation’s culture than through its boozy creations!
Meet your friendly local guide at Plaza de Armas, the main square of Cusco and a place that has been the heart of the city since the time of the Incas. You’ll get to explore the square a bit — take in the sites of the Cathedral and the Church of La Compañía, as well as all the outstanding buildings that make this plaza one of the most beautiful ones in the world — before officially beginning your Cusco tour
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Twelve Angled Stone, Calle Hatunrumiyoc 480, Cusco 08002 Peru
From there, you’ll wander along ancient streets to admire the dramatic Inca Walls, constructed of mammoth granite blocks, side-by-side with colonial buildings. It’s here that you’ll also get to see a famed Inca masterpiece, the 12-angle stone.
Duration: 15 minutes
Stop At: San Blas, Cusco Peru
Your Cusco tour will then lead you on a stroll through a beautiful small plaza, San Blas, located in Cusco’s bohemian, artistic neighbourhood. It’s here where you can find several artisanal shops, a handicrafts market, and the best views of the city as night falls.
Then it’s back to the order of the day: Pisco! As you wander through the city, your local guide will tell you all about traditional Pisco as well as fill you in on the distillation process, how this sour drink is made, and its place in Peruvian history. Our first stop will be at a local bar where you can taste a few different flavours of Pisco, and learn how to prepare the Chilcano, a cocktail made with Pisco, which is a very famous drink among locals.
Then we will continue to a bar with the best Pisco Sour in town and it’s your time to shine! Get your mixologist hat on and try your hand at making your very own Pisco Sour, using all the knowledge that you’ve picked up along the way on this Cusco city tour. And the best part? You get to drink it afterwards — salud!

My boyfriend and I loved this tour! Lilyana was our tour guide and it ended up being just us until the very end when the other three people showed up at our last stop. I highly recommend this tour because Cusco can seem a bit dodgy and with a local it made me feel very at ease. Lilyana was super sweet and offered me a poncho when it stared raining. She also recommended a restaurant to eat at the next night which we went to and it was delicious. My favorite part of the tour was the last stop at the pisco making bar where we got to get behind the bar and make our drinks. We even stayed for the band that was setting up. 5 stars!
Getting behind the bar and making your own pisco sour was one of the highlights of our trip! Went back to this bar 2 more times during our trip. Fantastic drinks and atmosphere
Really good tour. The only time wasted was to find other tour members in the huge Cusco square with a signboard. Wasn't ideal but well the tour overall was impressive! Highly recommend it if you're into Pisco - who isn't?! :-
A very pleasant evening walk with an enthusiastic guide. Cusco is a beautiful city at night. We enjoyed the Pisco Sour lesson too. It was very fun!
I did a solo trip to Cusco, and on the first day in the city I knew I wanted to do something that wasn't too exhausting, considering the early morning flight arrival and needing to get acclimated to the altitude. After a failed attempt at the free walking tour during the day, I decided to opt for this. By far a better decision. Spend the day exploring the city and sites on your own. Having a night tour was an excellent way to see a different side of the city with a local. The other that were supposed to be part of the tour apparently were sick from the altitude bring Diamox, so I benefited from a solo tour with Lily. She was extremely informative and fun to learn from. We we walked around the normal sites, but also explored several of the side streets, just off the main square. Ending at the Museo Del Pisco bar I'm sure they differ was great and convenient as it was across from my hotel. The staff/bartenders were uber friendly and taught how to make just the right Pisco Sour...by far the best experience of the tour. This is a great tour to do in the evening before dinner, especially if it's your first night in Cusco. Helps to give you a tour of the city while not being difficult.
