About this activity

Itinerary

This is our itinerary for this Tour:

Stop At: Cusco Cathedral,

Catedral Del Cusco & Plaza Central Duration: 40 Minutes.

Stop At: Qorikancha,

Templo Qoricancha (Santo Domingo church) – “the sun temple” Duration: 45 Minutes
its perfect architecture and stone construction reflect the fact that it was the most important temple of the Inca empire

Stop At Hatun Rumiyoq, “temple of Viracocha” Duration: 45 Minutes

We will explore part of the ancient streets, temples and residencies of the Inca society. In addition, one of them a beautiful street where you can see the stone of the 12 angles.

Stop At san blas neighborhood, 1 hour

San Blas Cusco is one of the emblematic Cusco neighborhoods of the historic center of the Imperial City, where many tourists arrive to enjoy its particular charm. A neighborhood that became par excellence in the cradle of Cusco artisans, but also of respectable blacksmiths, shoemakers, tailors and tinsmiths. Learn more about the history of the San Blas neighborhood in Cusco.

Stop at san Pedro Market, 1 hour

The San Pedro Market in Cusco sits about an eight-minute walk south from Plaza de Armas but could not be more different! On the walk to it, you will generally notice more and more street vendors and ladies in traditional dress sitting on the side of the streets selling nuts, popcorn and other small bags of dried foods. You will spot more and more local shops (tiendas) selling the most random of things all in the one tienda. If you’re looking for an alpaca jumper, a freshly made juice, a bag of nectarines, some plantains to fry, buttifaras (ham sandwiches served on French bread) or some cheesy gifts for your parents or friends back home you’re definitely on your way to the right place!

Stop at white Christ over the city. 20 minutes

Cristo Blanco (White Christ) in Cusco was built in 1945 by a group of Christian Palestinians, out of gratitude to the city for having accepted them when they were seeking refuge in Cusco in 1945. The White Christ is located on a mountain and provides a nice view over the city of Cusco and its surroundings.

Finally, we will return to the city of Cusco to leave them at your hotel or at a specific place.
