From Cusco: 2 Days Machu Picchu & Sacred Valley + Accommodation in Machu Picchu

Itinerary

Day 1: Tour along the sacred Valley and connection to Aguas Calientes

Stop At: Sacred Valley of the Incas, 0051 Peru
AM - Start the journey exploring the sacred valley of the incas. Visit the inca site of Pisaq and its incredible agricultural terraces. Stop in the town of Urubamba for Lunch (included). Continue to the Inca fortress of Ollantaytambo and its megalithic constructions on top of the mountain.

PM - After visiting the site, take the train heading to Aguas Calientes town (Machu Picchu Town). At your arrival the staff will be waiting at the train station and will transfer to your accommodation. The guide will meet you to provide further information of your tour in Machu Picchu next day.

Duration: 10 hours

• Lunch: Buffet Lunch is included only on the first day during the excursion to the sacred valley.

Day 2: Machu Picchu and return to Cusco

Stop At: Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu, Machu Picchu Peru
AM – Road Transfer From Aguas Calientes Town to Machu Picchu. Enjoy 2 hour guided tour in the Inca citadel and get free time to explore the site on your own.

PM – Return to Aguas Calientes for lunch (not included) and take the train back to Ollantaytambo to get transfered by road to Cusco city.
