Day 1: Arrive & Cusco City Tour

Stop At: Qorikancha, Santo Domingo s/n, Cusco 08000, Peru
The Temple of the Sun

Stop At: Sacsayhuaman, Cusco 08000 Peru
This immense ruin of both religious and military significance was built using megalithic limestone rocks, some of them weighing as much as 120 tons, The name itself can be translated as “speckled head” and some say that the city of Cusco was laid out in the shape of a puma, with Sacsayhuaman forming the head.

Stop At: Q'enqo, Cusco Peru
​It was one of the most important wak'as (holy places) in the Incan Cusco. Many wak'as were based on naturally occurring rock formations. It was believed to be a place where sacrifices and mummification took place

Stop At: Tambomachay, Cusco Peru
​Tambomachay might have fulfilled an imortant religious function linked with water and the regeneration of the soil. It is calculated that it was built around 1500 a,C., in close relation to Puca Pucara.

Day 2: Maras & Moray Half Day Tour

Stop At: Moray, Maras 08655 Peru
According to researchers, the circular terraces in Moray served as a center for agricultural research, as each level offered different climactic conditions and allowed for different plants to be cultivated experimentally.

Stop At: Salinas de Maras, Carreta a Maras Urubamba, Maras 00051 Peru
The stunning landscape of Salineras de Maras features salt pans that are still used exactly as they were at the time of the Incas. As you make your way through the region, you’ll see people doing the backbreaking work of harvesting salt on small family plots. The reward? The salt gathered here is some of the best in the world.

Day 3: Humantay Lagoon Trek

Stop At: Humantay Lake, Cusco 08001 Peru
The Humantay Lagoon hike is a full day trip from Cusco that allows our guests to become fully immersed into the high Andes. Departing from Cusco at 4:30am we will drive two hours to Mollepata town where we will have a delitious breakfast in a cozy restaurant surrounded by idyllic views of the andean mountains. Continuing the trip we drive one hour more until we reach the starting point at the andean Community of Soraypampa. From there we begin a 1 1/2 hour trek up to Humantay Lake, located at 4,300 meters (14,107 feet). The Turquoise lake is an absolutely stunning treasure in the Cusco región. Once at the lake guests will have time at leisure for photography and exploring the surrounding área and if you dare, take a dip in the glacial waters! We will then make our way back down the mountain to Soraypampa and then drive back to Mollepata for a delitious buffet lunch. In the early afternoon we start a two hours drive back to Cusco arriving there around 6:00pm.

Day 4: Machupicchu Full Day Tour

Stop At: Machu Picchu, 08680, Peru
Benefit from early morning pick-up at your accommodation in Cusco at around 05:00am, and then journey 2 hours by bus to the train station at Ollantaytambo to take the Expedition Train to Machupicchu. Pass through extraordinary landscapes that will keep your camera busy!. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, a guide will be waiting for you at the train station to escort you to the ruins of Machu Picchu by bus. Travel for about 25 minutes through the breathtaking scenery, and upon arrival at the site of the "Lost City of the Incas," enter the historic citadel and take a 2 to 3-hour guided tour visiting the famous Temple of the Sun, the Three Windows Temple, The Intihuatana or Sun Dial, the temple of the Condor and many other important sectors of this magnificent ancient site. Return by bus to Aguas Calientes and enjoy some free time to explore the town on your own. Relax in the hot springs or at one of the many restaurants or cafés. Then, board the Expedition train in the Sunset Time for the return journey to Ollantaytambo Station, where on arrival you will be transported by bus back to Cusco and your accommodation for the end of the tour services.

Day 5: Cusco South Valley Half Day Tour

Stop At: Tipon, Cusco Peru
It is one of the most elaborate examples of agricultural terracing created by the Incas. These tall terraces which run up the narrow valley are irrigated by an aqueduct from the mountain above the site.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Pikillacta, 20 km al Oriente de Cusco, 08210, Peru
Pikillacta is the only pre-Inca site in the Cusco area. This adobe complex was built around 700 to 900 years AD by the Huari Culture, in the area; there is a small Inca site just a short walk from Pikillacta, known as Rumicolca, a travel checkpoint for the Incas.

Stop At: San Pedro Apostol de Andahuaylillas, Calle Tacna No 302, Andahuaylillas 08210 Peru
Here you will visit the "Sistine Chapel of Peru", a church that is home to golden altars, paintings and many colored ceilings. The chapel is simple and unassuming on the outside, but on the inside you'll find masterpiece after masterpiece. Also some paintings from famous “Escuela Cusqueña” can be appreciated.

Day 6: Rainbow Mountain Trek

Stop At: Cerro Colorado Vinicunca, Apv- Tipon-n11, Cusco 08003 Peru
We will pick you up from your Hotel in Cusco at 4:30 a.m. It is about 3 hour drive in our shared van, during which we will pass through traditional villages and have an amazing view of the Andes. When we reach the starting point of the trail, we will stop for breakfast at a small cozy restaurant. After breakfast we will start the hike from Chillihuani at 4,600 m. From there it will be a 1h 30 minutes uphill hike to reach the famous Rainbow Mountain. Along the way you will have the chance to enjoy an amazing view of the Andes, glacial peaks, red mountains, rocky hills, traditional llamas and alpacas grazing along the valley. Once we arrive at the top of Rainbow Mountain, you´ll have a breathtaking views of the valleys and Ausangate Glacier Peak in front of you. Ausangate is the highest mountain of the Cusco region (just under 21,000 ft) and is part of the Cordillera Vilcanota Range. While you are enjoying the view your guide will provide you with interesting information about the composition of these mountains and how they became striated in the rainbow of colors. Our descent will be for around 1 hour, it is a downhill hike and a delicious, freshly made and hot lunch will be ready for us when we get there. After lunch it would be nice to interact with the locals and then we will start our trip back to Cusco. We will drop you off at your hotel around 5 p.m.
