Manu Reserved Zone Express 6 Days

Day 1 Cusco – Guadalupe Lodge 

• Enjoyable van ride that begins at 5:00 AM along the Andes, with a stunning views of the mountain peaks and remote villages
• Descent to the cloud forest and walk along the misty forest to look for the amazing cock-of-the-rock and other birds and monkeys.
• Pictures stops of landscapes and waterfalls
• Arrival to the Lodge and walk along the trails to observe some wildlife along the palm forest (macaws and monkeys)
• Guided Night walk after dinner 

Day 2: Guadalupe Lodge - Romero Lodge

• Departure and short travel by car to Atalaya port and board to motorized canoe to navigate the exciting Alto Madre de Dios
• Boat journey along the Alto Madre de Dios River and opportunities to observe some wildlife along the river side 
• Arrival to the confluence of the Manu and Madre de Dios Rivers and stop for registration at the Limonal ranger station 
• Walk to experience the flora and fauna in the remoteness of the Park while observing some animals or at least tracks of peccaries , tapirs 

Day 3: Romero Lodge - Salvador Oxbow Lake

• Relaxing boat ride along the upper Manu river with greater possibilities to spot emblematic animals 
• Exploration by Catamarans of the Salvador oxbow lake famous for its population of Giant Otters and wildlife viewing such different species of monkeys and caimans
• Return boat journey along the Manu river and visit to the giant kapok tree
• Overview from canopy tower of the wonderful section of untouched rainforest

Day 4: Romero Lodge - El Dorado Lodge.

• Boat ride and great chances to observe some wildlife along the river banks while you sits on you comfortable adjustable and cushioned seats
• Visit a small macaw , parrot clay lick along the banks of the river.
• Walk along the system of trails of the lodge looking for some wildlife during the afternoon, overnight at the lodge

Day 5: El Dorado Lodge - Guadalupe Lodge

• Birds observation along the boat trip and chances for sighting wildlife 
• Motorized journey and visit to the hot medicinal springs for lunch 
• Arrival to Atalaya Port andoptional visit of the wildlife rescued center *
• once we get to the next lodge we will explore the trails that will takes us along the swampy forest to look for macaws and monkeys

Day 6: Guadalupe Lodge - Cusco

• Guided walk around the garden of the lodge to explain about the medicinal and curative plants such as; coca leaf, wild tomatoes, annatto 
• Visit to the natural caves and trails around the lodge.
• Arrival to Cusco around the 18:00 hrs.
