Itinerary

You will visit the Amaru community in Pisac, in the Sacred Valley, Cusco. Amaru is a community of 200 families eager to teach the world about their ancient heritage and culture such as natural plants used in traditional medicine. Amaru is known for its attractive houses, traditional agricultural terraces and archaeological ruins.

7:50 AM Pick up from hotel or meeting point

8:00 AM The trip begins

9:30 AM Arrival at Amaru and welcome to the community

10:00 AM Take a short walk and discover the magical plants that grow in Amaru

10:30 AM Workshop: Natural medicine preparation

12:00 PM Time to go to Cusco

1:30 PM Arrival to hotel or meeting point
