The ceremony or ritual of the pachamama is known in the Andean world as `tribute or dispatch 'to the earth, a hole is made in the land where Andean products will be put as well as chichas drinks, beer, liquor, red wine, water blessed, coca leaves (sacred Andean plant, mediator with the spirits), and various things, money, coins, amulets, colored stones, food (bread, cookies, fruits). The hole represents in itself an altar form and a "waca" at the same time a sacred place, a "paqarina" a symbolic uterus "of the earth.
