Stop At: Inca Trail, Cusco 08000 Peru

Pick up from your hotel at 4:00 am in Cusco for transfer to the train station of Ollantaytambo or 6:00 am in. After an hour and 10 minutes on the Expedition train, we arrive at kilometer 104 at (6,927ft) of the Machu Picchu trainway. Here we begin the hike and pass by the first checkpoint.

Stop At: Winay Wayna, Machu Picchu Peru

We begin a progressive climb (around 1600f) for approx. three hours to the magnificent archaeological site of Wiñayhuana. Once when we arrive, we will have chance to have our lunch and enjoy the spectacular views of the Urubamba canyon, stunning Inca sites and fantastic places.

Stop At: Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu, Machu Picchu Peru

After lunch we continue the hike direct to the Sun Gate (9,007ft), where you will have the first view of Machu Picchu in all its majestic and monumental presence! After enjoying the view, we walk downhill to the Inca citadel. Once there we will be inside of one of the most important and energetic centers in the world “Machu Picchu” in all its splendor. A two and a half hours guided tour will take you into the fascinating history and places that you will never forget.

Free time to explore Machupicchu by your own and take photos before we head down to Aguas Calientes.

Stop At: Hot Springs (Aguas Calientes), Signposted from main square, Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu Peru

Free time for dinner In Aguas Calientes. You will return in the Expedition train to Ollantaytambo (Around 19:00) and board our private minivan to Cusco.
