DAY 01: ARRIVAL TO CUSCO (B)

Arrival and Trasnfer to your hotel.

DAY 02: AFTERNOON CITY TOUR (B)

The city tour will start at 13:00 pm. We explore the city by foot to appreciate the Inca walls and architecturally extravagant colonial churches and palaces. This also includes a visit of Koricancha. After this we take a short drive to visit Sacsayhuaman along with Tambomachay.

DAY 03: SACRED VALLEY – OLLANTAYTAMBO – AGUAS CALIENTES (B, L)

Early in the morning we will leave Cusco at 8:00 AM. We will stop at the city of Pisac (or Pisaq), through which the River of Urubamba flows. Here we will enjoy the weekly market where we can buy textiles, pottery and other little things. We will then take the bus uphill to the ruins complex of Pisac, an Inca citadel perched on a mountainside. Our journey continues to Ollantaytambo, where we will visit the archaeological complex. In the afternoon, we will travel to Agua Calientes by train, where we’ll spend the night.

DAY 04: MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO (B)

After a good night sleep, we will travel by bus to the mountain of Machu Picchu. The tour will be guided for 2:30 hours. We will visit the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sundial, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and the cemeteries. 

In the afternoon, we will return to our hotel in Cusco.

DAY 5 – SPEND THE DAY TRAVELLING FROM CUSCO TO PUNO BY BUS (B)

Transfer to the bus station where you will board the bus to Puno. You will enjoy several shorts stops to take in panoramic views. In Sicuani where you’ll have a delicious buffet lunch. Upon arrival you will be met by our representative and taken to your hotel

DAY 6 – LAKE TITICACA (UROS FLOATING ISLANDS & TAQUILE) (B, L, D)

Our journey will begin with the Uros Floating Islands. After, you will proceed to the Island of Taquile. Here we will have the lunch. Tonight, your accommodation may be simple, but it is by no means less extraordinary. Stay with a local family in a room with a beautiful view of the lake. After dinner, stroll along the shores of Lake Titicaca and watch the sun go down as the locals do.

DAY 7 – LAKE TITICACA – PUNO (B, L, D)

Start your day off with a wonderful breakfast. Today, soak up some of Peru’s culture straight from the hands of the locals. As an optional activity, you can also go kayaking on the lake. After a beautiful walk on the north pier we will have lunch in a village. Later on the opposite side of the island, we will descend 530 steps to the dock. We will return in the same boat towards Puno.

DAY 8 – TRANSFER HOTEL – JULIACA AIRPORT (B)

We will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the airport of Juliaca so you can take your flight back home.
