Day 1 CHIMONA Tour: Chinchero – Moray - Maras
The tour starts early in the morning, we will pick you up from your accommodation and we will go to Chinchero and explore the ruins and other sights. Then we will have an interesting lecture of the Incan textiles. We will drive to the place where we will start cycling to Moray and you will see the ancient Incan laboratories. The we cycle to Maras where you will see the salt mines and enjoy "chicha de Jora"
Day 2: Cusco - Huamanmarca - Pispitayoc (biking, trekking, rafting)
The adventure starts with a pick up from your accommodation in Cusco. Via Ollantaytambo the bus will bring you to Abra Malaga where the cycling tour starts. We will descent from the mountains to the jungle. When we arrive to Huamanmarca, we will eat delicious lunch. Then we travel by bus to Santa Maria. In Santa Maria you will be transported to rafting camp, where you will be informed about the activity. After rafting we will go to eat dinner to the eco-lodge where we will spend the night.
Day 3: Pispitayoc – Cocalmayo – Santa Teresa (trekking)
The third day of the tour starts with a delicious breakfast accompanied with home grown coffee. Then we will start trekking along the original Inca Trail and admire the diverse flora and fauna. We will eat lunch and relax in the hammocks in Quellemayo. We will continue trekking to Cocalmayo (including one cross with cable car). In Cocal mayo we will enjoy our time in the thermal baths. Then we continue to Santa Teresa, where we will stay for the night.
Day 4: Santa Teresa – Hidro Electrica - Aguas Calientes (trekking, zip-line)
The fourth day starts with a breakfast and we will trek through amazing routes and see important archaeological sites. Then it is time to do an exciting activity, zip-lining! You will be gliding over the incredibly beautiful scenery. After this amazing experience you will be transported to Hidro Electrica where you will eat lunch and then start walking to Aguas Calientes were we will spend the night. In the evening we will meet for dinner and have a meeting about the schedule of the Machu Picchu tour.
Day 5: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco (trekking, tour of Machu Picchu)
The last day of the tour starts very early, first we will hike through the forest and then climb stairs to the entrance of Machu Picchu. Our guide will lead you through the ruins and tell you about the history and culture of the Incas (1,5 hours). You can explore Machu Picchu longer by yourself or if you purchased an entrance ticket to Huayna Picchu or Montaña Vieja you will explore them. The you will decent from Machu Picchu by your own to Aguas Calientes to catch the train to Ollantaytambo where you will be transported by bus back to Cusco
