About this activity

Travel through the historic Urubamba Valley on this information packed half-day tour. Pass the snow-capped peaks of the Peruvian Andes, and meander through lush, yellow fields of wheat and sleepy little villages.

Take time in one of the weaving centers with our local crafters as they demonstrate how they clean, dye, and create their fabrics. Continue to the nearby village of Maras and explore its historical salt producing center. Take in the spectacular nature, and admire the unique quilt-work of over 3000 salt ponds spilling into the Sacred Valley. Learn about the Inca ingenuity hidden in the mysterious circular terraces at Moray.
