Itinerary
Day 1: CUSCO - OLLANTAYTAMBO - AGUAS CALIENTES
Stop At: Hot Springs (Aguas Calientes), Signposted from main square, Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu Peru
We will pick you up at 10 a.m. from your hotel to take you to the train station. From Cusco to Ollantaytambo we take a private mini van which is 2 hours, and we take train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes for 1 hour and 40 minutes; the train drive is breath-taking with very comfortable seats. During the trip, you will enjoy many glacier peaks, green lush valleys and many Inca farming terraces in both sites of the valley.
Moreover, you will be able to see many Inca ruins and the km 82 where Inca classic trail begins. Little by little, you will enter to the jungle and Aguas Calientes (2000 meters above sea level) where our representative will pick you up and take you to the hotel, then you will have free afternoon where you can organize some activities such as visit to the hot springs, Mandor Botanical Garden and waterfalls. Lunch will be before doing Mandor botanical Garden. Dinner will be at the same town.

Day 2: AGUAS CALIENTES - MACHUPICCHU - CUSCO
Stop At: Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu, Machu Picchu Peru
The most important day of our jurney Machu Picchu. You will get up and have breakfast early at the hotel, because the first bus to Machupicchu is at 5:30am. If you want to see the sunrise at Machupicchu site, you have to get up early, that is the only way to enjoy the sun rise. We will drive half an hour to reach the Inca city Machupicchu. The Inca ruins Machupicchu opens at 6:00am. Your guiding tour at Machupicchu will take 2 hours approximately. (if you want to get the best schedule time of machu picchu you should book 3 month before doing the tour. More info contac us)
After your tour, you will have free time to visit by yourself, so you can go to the sun gate, Inca Bridge, Machupicchu Mountain, Huaynapicchu Mountain. Once you have done Machupicchu, you take a bus back to Aguas Calientes. You will meet up with your tour guide in Aguas Calientes town to get your train ticket, or you can collect your ticket in machupicchu.
Make sure to arrive at train station 30 minutes before your departure. Our train schedule is usually around at 3:00 p.m. to Ollantaytambo.
Your transportation back to Cusco will be by train and bus.From Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo town, you will take a train, which will take 1 hour and half. Then from Ollantaytambo to Cusco, you will go by our private van, which will take 2 hours.
All transportation in Cusco will be to your hotel.
