Day 1: Transfer in + Cusco City Tour

Stop At: Alejandro Velasco Astete Airport, Avenida Velasco Astete, Cusco 08006, Peru
Reception at the airport of Cusco and transfer to the hotel.

Stop At: Cusco Cathedral, Portal Belen Plaza de Armas, Cusco 08002 Peru
In the afternoon admire the wonderful pre Hispanic and colonial legacy of the city of Cusco, an interesting tour where you can visit the Temple of the Sun or The Koricancha, former place of worship to the sun God of the Incas and on which the current convent of Santo Domingo was erected; contemplate the beauty of Cusco’s Plaza de Armas and admire the most representative sculptural and pictorial displays of Cusco art in its imposing cathedral.

Stop At: Tambomachay, Cusco Peru
Afterwards walk around the city, admire the fortress of Sacsayhuaman and the amazing of its walls composed of huge stones assembled with great precision, know the adoratory of Kenko, the watchtower of Puca Pucara and finally Tambomachay, ancient Inca enclosure of water worship.

Day 2: Cusco + Sacred Valley of the Incas

Stop At: Sacred Valley of the Incas, 0051 Peru
Discover the Sacred Valley of the Incas, a picturesque tour where you can appreciate important archaeological remains, landscapes and customs. Visit the Awanacancha, center of diffusion of the Andean textile and where you will be able to observe closely different South American camelids; then tour the town of Pisac and its artisan market where you can make shopping, as well as experiencing the customs of its inhabitants. Admire Pisac’s impressive archaeological park, nestled at the top of a mountain and then travel by bus along the right bank of the river Vilcanota the different villages of the Sacred Valley to the town of Urubamba where you can enjoy a comforting lunch in a restaurant local.

Stop At: Archaeological Park Ollantaytambo, Ollantaytambo 08676 Peru
In the afternoon continue your tour to visit the Fortress of Ollantaytambo, walk through its typical streets and ascend to the highest of the fortress to admire the beauty of the surrounding landscape. Later transfer to your hotel.

Day 3: Machu Picchu Tour + Cusco

Stop At: Hot Springs (Aguas Calientes), Signposted from main square, Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu Peru
The adventure begins by embarking on one of the most beautiful railway routes, crossing picturesque Andean landscapes and then getting into the warm and lush jungle eyebrow to the town of Aguas Calientes; board the bus that will take you down a meandering road to the top of a mountain, then take some time to simply delight your senses and enjoy the breathtaking view of the citadel of Machu Picchu, one of the 7 New Wonders of the Modern World.

Once in Machu Picchu, we will have the experience and feel of walking through the passageways and alleys of the citadel, bear witness to the architectural grandeur of the Incas and bring with it the satisfaction of having contemplated an incomparable place in the world; Then descend again to the village of Aguas Calientes to replenish the energies with a pleasant lunch. At the indicated time you will board again the return train to Cusco.

Day 4: Rainbow Mountain Vinicunca + Cusco

Stop At: Rainbow Mountain, Cusco 08225, Peru
A fascinating adventure begins very early. We will pick you up from your hotel at approximately 3.00 am to start a 3 hour journey with private transport at the start of the route. Upon arrival, you will be given a hot breakfast before starting to walk. The hike to the rainbow mountain will take about 3 hours. The trip will be through a land of wild desert landscapes, snowy peaks, alpaca groups, wild llamas and vicuñas. We will discover the beautiful colorful hills of the Vinicunca Mountain of the Andes. Along the journey we will pass through a vibrant green valley with the stunning view of the Ausangate snowfall. We will experience firsthand how people live in the mountains and even have the opportunity to converse with them. As you approach the rainbow mountain you will begin to see the first signs of the colored minerals that form the painted hills.

Stop At: Rainbow Mountain, Cusco 08225, Peru
The guide will explain us about the history and existence of the rainbow mountain, and finally we will make an excursion to the highest point where we can observe the view of 360 degrees of this sacred land. We will enjoy a box lunch at the top with a deserved rest to enjoy the beautiful landscape. After a few hours we will return to the starting point of the walk to take the vehicle back to the beginning of the walk (approximately 2 ½hrs) where we will enjoy an amazing meal prepared by our chef and then go back to Cusco.
